Covid-19 protocols

Future Stars Soccer Academy COVID-19 Camp Protocols

Future Stars Soccer Academy is dedicated to providing a safe environment for our players, staff, and community as we restart full activities. To begin, all of our staff members are fully vaccinated. We seek to uphold a standard of care consistent with all government and youth soccer association guidelines. As we enter a new phase, we require all participants in our organization to adhere to the following protocols, which are subject to change, given the new and shifting nature of the situation. As your family evaluates whether or not your player(s) will take part, please thoroughly review the protocols with your child and ensure they understand the expectations Future Stars will have of them.

Prior to CAMP

  • The governor’s ‘shelter in place’ order for all individuals with underlying conditions recently ended. That said, you should not come to camp if anyone in your household has had any symptoms within the last 14 days associated with Covid-19, including:
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fever
    • Chills
    • Muscle pain
    • Sore throat
    • New loss of taste or smell
  • Each player must bring his or her own mask, water bottle, and ball.
  • Coaches and players will do a wellness check every day prior to camp. Anyone with a fever or exhibiting other symptoms related to Covid-19 will not be allowed to participate. You can submit your wellness check here: https://bit.ly/fssa-check.
  • Parents are required to drop their player(s) off at the designated entrance to the fields.
  • Please arrive early. To ensure that all players are able to enter the fields while maintaining social distance, car drop off will occur one by one. Please wait patiently, should a car line develop.
  • Once players have entered through the designated entrance, they will be required to use the hand sanitizing station before proceeding to their designated field.
  • After hand sanitizing, players must proceed directly to their field. Congregating at the entrance is not permitted.
  • All coaches and staff will wear masks during check-in and at the beginning of each session.

During CAMP

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the fields.
  • Coaches will monitor players and enforce all Covid-19 protocols, including:
    • mask wearing while inside and during breaks, but NOT during training
    • zero water sharing
  • Only coaches will touch the cones or other general equipment.

After CAMP

  • Please be in the parking lot at the designated end time of your child’s practice. Do not exit your car.
